Sheep are tendered by Shepherds, as they say, a good shepherd is someone who looks after their sheep, sounds easy, but truth is, sheep are hard to pastor, they are not easy to take commands, at the same time, there are sets of weaknesses, like poor hearing, eye sight and etc. In the Bible, people are often compared to a sheep, that we are sheep and we have a shepherd. Many preacher would use this rationale in stressing a point in a talk or so.
I just realized, that what a sheep become is partly to be blamed or praised to the shepherd. i thought of writing about the tale of the 2 sheep.
If you are a shepherd, a true shepherd for that matter, you should know how to make your flock grow together, and make that growth shared to many others you wanted to take part on the feast that the shepherd is preparing. It takes a lot of work for a shepherd to be truly a shepherd, of course you praise and correct your sheep, that is part of the job, but it think a good shepherd doesnt only correct and praise, but a true shepherd listens, a shepherd is merciful, and a shepherd is someone who walks in the life of holiness, or putting efforts to be holy.
We tend to see preachers holy, or founder of organization holy, or someone who we hear talking about forgiveness and all holy.
But, if you have those list all intact in your credentials, but your people are deteriorating in numbers, fighting over petty stuff, and your leaders causing division, is that still good shepherding? I also thought that something is so wrong that people tend to just complain and go, and thats it, and just start something new, and fight over membership and stuff.
It is just sad to see how many time a person witness division and fall. How many times you see people dividing because of common desire to preach the word.
I pity those we see holy, or living a life of holiness and seeing his flock dividing not only once but more than twice. If i am the shepherd, i would kneel down and pray and ask God, what is something i am doing that is not working? you cannot go through division every now and then, because at the end, it is not you or the people that suffers, it is the work that is handed over to you.
I am not perfect person, but i am not a bad person, and i felt hearing what people are saying, that one sheep with a shepherd is doing something so wrong but feels that they are perfectly ok, and on the other side, the outcast, the one being thrown to a pit from words and hate of people are thriving, and growing exponentially.
Its hard to judge or say things, but those who are being cast out are the ones you will be glorified, and those who feel that they are supreme, original, and all, will be broken down even to the last bit of what they have, it is about time to discern so well, because things are slowly being brought down, one step at a time. Being original doesnt mean you have the anointing, or still have the anointing, because from the outside seeing the inside, it seems like it is a hollow area already. And the space is full of denial because of the word, "original", and the non so original has a compact space and still growing.
it is up to you to judge. I pray that all be well, after all it is NOT your work, but it is GODS work, and we are just mere sharers to that Glory God has bring, the reason why you are there, the reason why you are preaching, the reason why you experience the world, the reason is all about GOD, and only God!
Condemnation will come, and the breaking of the group to a pieces is a clear sign that something not so good is happening, when there is hate amongst each other at the expense of evangelization and God`s work? that you have to start reflecting on...
