It is the happiest time of the year! that is what everyone claim it to be, for many reason it can be considered truly the happiest, Christmas bonus, merry making, shopping, street lights, songs, and just the plain surrounding resonates that truly Christmas is near. As the 'BER" months comes in, it is Christmas!
Growing up, i always look forward to this season, of course, more than the food and all, it is the whole idea of Christmas, it feels like it is a day where everyone is just happy, the only day where problems are not present, and merry making is the real deal. Growing up, the idea of Christmas is something that you look forward too, the 100 days countdown seems to be so long, and the waiting is just so exciting.
At the age of 40 now, Christmas feel have change, yes, maybe, part of it is historical, or reality that you have, and even situation and events, it seems that, everything is happening faster than expected, before you know it, it`s been 5 Christmas day have past.
Sometimes i wonder? is Christmas for everybody? or it is just for the selected, privileged, happy people? how about those who doesn`t have food to put in the table on the eve of Christmas? those who just stare on what others have? those that compare what they have with what others have? how about those in the streets with nothing, how about those broken homes, lonely individuals, alone in the most and happiest time of the year? is Christmas the same?
Everytime i hear Christmas song, i get so excited, but growing old with so much reality that you carry, Christmas songs are painful reminder of what others have, that you dont have.
But, anyway, He is the reason for the season, probably that should be the focus.
