For many of us, what people say or do matters. If your personal life is invaded and wrong judgement is floating around, normal reaction is to get hurt. But while getting personally hurt is the most normal reaction, it takes maturity of trying to see why people say or do such towards you. I know it is far fetch really, but it takes that level of maturity or i would say personal relationship with the mighty creator.

Christian organization is a place for development and deepening of your relationship with God. It is a sacred place where you feel accepted and nourished. A lot of people go to community because they needed community, to experience change, and to surrender past mistakes and shortcomings.

But how about those who are already in community and fallen short of what is expected? Those that we taught ok but not really ok? Those that we adored and admire, but have fallen deep down? is community still that community we taught it will be?

Such a paradox to think, that we aim for sinners to be saints, but we cast out sinners because they are already saints. Good people, people who speak about Christ, people who preach are no super heroes! they fall short, they commit mistakes, they stumble and fall, but why is it, that when this type of people are the one who made mistakes, it seems that it is not acceptable? are mistakes only for bad people? good and well mannered people commit mistakes as well. Is community for saints alone? isnt community for everybody?

Christ preached to the lost and the abandon, He said that He is for those who are sick, He never cast you out, or throw you out in the pit, He is there waiting for the return of His prodigal son with much joy and happiness. But why is it, here in community, it is not the same? are we following a different God? and preaching a different Christ?

But who are we to judge? its hard to judge good people because they are "good", easy to judge the sinners, because they are "sinners", thats how it is and i guess that is how it will always be.

At the end, it is our relationship with God that matters, we will never be perfect but at least we try to be perfect, and perfection comes from accepting both good and bad people, after all we are all claiming that we are followers of Christ.

Have a good day!
