Road to Greatness

We all desire to be good in what we do, actually to be great in what we do and aspire to do. As a person, we always wanted to exceed expectation, for people around us to be proud of what we have achieved and accomplished. Though this is something that is very ideal, there are event in our life that somehow makes this desire challenging and harder to accomplished. The world has that set of standard for greatness, some it can be the amount of money that you have, or the kind of vehicle you drive around, or the house that you have acquired, while for some, greatness is all about being a good person inside and out, to be the better version of yourself in every aspect of your life, your way or kind of thinking, and your response or reaction to your reality can be a pitch for the greatness.

Gods intention in our life is to be great as a follower and witness, but how can you be great if there are falling short of expectation? if there are ideals that are not met? if there are struggles and doubt? if there are limitation and doors being closed due to mistakes and shortcomings?

Life is a series of ups and downs, there are hurdles that needed to be surpassed, and there are challenges that needed to be conquered. At the end of the day, greatness is all about embracing your reality, doing everything necessary to fight and win negativity, to rebuild and build yourself to that person that God has intend you to be. That is greatness, that at the end of the day, you deserve that spot in heaven, because you learned from the fall.

I desire to be great again, not anymore on material things, but greatness as a person. For people around me to be grateful that they have me, and for God to smile knowing that "my son has done what is right". That is my desire and on my way back to greatness, may those i encounter in the process be recipients of Gods love and faithfulness coming from the witnessing that i carry and possess.
